The galaxy far, far away returns to the big screen for the first time since 2019 with The Mandalorian and Grogu — a standalone film continuing the beloved story of Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and fan favourite “Baby Yoda.” Directed by Jon Favreau and co-starring Jeremy Allen White and Sigourney Weaver, this cinematic event is one of the most eagerly anticipated Star Wars releases in years. Releasing May 22, 2026, ahead of the Victoria Day long weekend, it’s perfectly timed for a family outing. Screening in standard, IMAX, and 3D formats at Cineplex Odeon, SilverCity Grandview, and Scotiabank Theatre locations across Metro Vancouver.
