The Tony Award-winning Canadian musical Come From Away — with book, music, and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein — begins its run at the Arts Club’s Stanley BFL CANADA Stage on May 28, 2026 (running through July 26). Based on the true story of the 38 planes that were diverted to Gander, Newfoundland, following the September 11, 2001 attacks, the musical celebrates the remarkable kindness of the small town that welcomed nearly 7,000 strangers. It’s funny, moving, and deeply human — one of the most celebrated Canadian musicals ever written. Directed by Arts Club Theatre Artistic Director Ashlie Corcoran.
