Italian Day on the Drive (Street Festival)

Vancouver’s largest cultural street festival transforms 14 blocks of Commercial Drive into a vibrant Italian piazza for one spectacular Sunday. The 2026 edition carries the theme Campione — the spirit of champions — a fitting tribute during the FIFA World Cup summer. Expect over 130 vendors, 20+ restaurant patios serving pizza, pasta, and gelato, live music across seven stages, a fashion show, cooking demonstrations, a pasta-eating contest, street performers, and a children’s zone with crafts and activities. The event draws hundreds of thousands of visitors annually and is completely free to attend. SkyTrain riders can hop off at Commercial-Broadway Station, steps from the heart of the festival. The festival runs noon to 8 pm and celebrates Italian heritage and Italo-Canadian culture in the heart of historic Little Italy.
