Bard on the Beach: Goblin:Oedipus (Theatre)

The wildly popular Goblins — Wug, Kragva, and Moog — return to Bard on the Beach for the first time since their sold-out 2023 run, this time turning Sophocles’ Oedipus the King into a riotous, irreverent, and deeply funny escapade. Created by Rebecca Northan and Bruce Horak, this production features chaotic audience interaction, adult themes, and eye-gouging (figurative) comedy you won’t forget. Adapted by John Murrell, it tells the tale of Oedipus’ shocking self-discovery amid a deadly plague in Thebes. Note: this production is for audiences 18 and older and contains adult themes and strong language. Runs in repertory with Antigone in the Douglas Campbell Theatre from June 30 onward.
