Canada Day Celebrations – Metro Vancouver (Festival)

Celebrate Canada Day 2026 across Metro Vancouver with a full day of free community festivities! Events take place throughout the region including at Canada Place in Vancouver, Steveston Village in Richmond, Shipyards Night Market in North Vancouver, Rocky Point Park in Port Moody, and communities from Burnaby and Coquitlam to Langley, Surrey, and New Westminster. Expect live music, fireworks, food trucks, children’s activities, cultural performances, and a festive community atmosphere all day long. July 1, 2026 is a stat holiday and also coincides with FIFA World Cup excitement still in the air. The Vancouver Canadians play a Canada Day game with fireworks at Nat Bailey Stadium starting at 7:05 pm.
