An important and moving new exhibition at the Museum of Anthropology (MOA) at UBC, Indigenous Voices: Weaving Stories features contemporary works by First Nations, Métis, and Inuit artists from across Canada. Through textiles, sculpture, installation, and digital media, the show explores themes of land, resilience, cultural resurgence, and the enduring strength of Indigenous artistic traditions. MOA, situated on the unceded territories of the Musqueam people on the UBC Point Grey campus, is one of Canada’s leading public art museums and a world-renowned centre for the study and celebration of Indigenous cultures. The exhibition is accompanied by artist talks, guided tours, and community programming throughout May. Admission by donation on Tuesday evenings.
