Join City Soul Choir and friends from Rhythm and Roots for a joyful afternoon of South African music as we raise funds for two wonderful children’s choirs in Cape Town!
This special concert brings together the beautiful songs and rhythms that City Soul Choir members learned during an unforgettable musical and cultural exchange trip to South Africa earlier this year. Led by SongRoots founder Karla Mundy, the group studied with acclaimed South African musician, teacher, and composer Bongani Magatyana. Now they’re keeping that music alive here in Vancouver and sharing it with you.
Expect rich harmonies, uplifting rhythms, and the soul-stirring spirit of South African choral music in this heartwarming fundraiser. All proceeds will support the Khayelitsha Children’s Choir and the Iminqweno Yethu Choir in Cape Town.
