Description

Escape the city and immerse yourself in the breathtaking spring blooms of the UBC Botanical Garden, one of Canada’s oldest and most respected botanical gardens, located on the UBC Point Grey campus in Vancouver. May is peak bloom season — expect stunning displays of rhododendrons, magnolias, cherry blossoms, and native wildflowers throughout the garden’s themed sections, including the BC Rainforest Garden, the Alpine Garden, and the beautifully restored Carolinian Forest Walk. The garden offers a peaceful, restorative escape perfect for solo walks, family outings, or a quiet morning date. Guided tours are available on weekends. The adjacent Nitobe Memorial Garden (Japanese stroll garden) is also open and worth combining for a full morning of natural beauty.
