About

Science World is a non-profit science center in Vancouver’s iconic geodesic dome, originally built for Expo 86. It engages visitors of all ages in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) through hands-on exhibits, live science demonstrations, and temporary exhibitions like "Ultimate Dinosaurs" and "The Science Behind Pixar." The OMNIMAX Theatre offers immersive films, and the Ken Spencer Science Park provides outdoor learning. With a focus on inspiring curiosity, it’s ideal for families, school groups, and science enthusiasts. Outreach programs extend to communities across British Columbia.
